Update
KNYSNA NEWS - The Victor Molosi murder case continues at the Knysna Magistrate's Court.
The High Court saw the key witness, Luzuko Makhala drastically deviate from his original statement last week and the state has been laying a basis for him to be declared a hostile witness.
The state has called several witnesses to take the stand and today Luzuko, who was expected to testify against his brother Mawande Makhala and his co-accused Velile Waxa and Vela Patrick Dumile, is scheduled to be back in the stand.
The three men stand accused of the murder of Molosi who was gunned down outside his home in Concordia last year; conspiracy to commit the murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm.
They pleaded not guilty on all counts.
To date, the state has called a total of five witnesses; Luzuko, Colonel Bambelela Ngxaki, Nozuko Kameni, Warrent Officer Anna-Marie van Niekerk (who gave cellphone data analysis obtained from Luzuko and the accused men's phones) and sergeant Patrick Mdokwana.
