Kindness@Mandela, a student organisation at Nelson Mandela University, invites Grade 12 learners from high schools across George to its Matric Online Applications Event at the Inkcubeko Centre, from 12:00 until late. The team will assist matriculants with tertiary education applications, provide guidance on available opportunities and help them take the next step towards their future. Learners are encouraged to bring the necessary documents and come ready to apply.

Shakespeare Schools Festival at the Market Community Theatre. Support young learners in their creative adaptations of Shakespeare's plays - seven schools over three days, 30 minutes per play. Tickets on Webtickets.

Die Brinkleys-mark vind elke Saterdag van 09:00 tot 14:00 by die Brinkleys River Village in Klein-Brakrivier plaas. Daar is meer as 40 stalletjies met 'n verskeidenheid vars produkte, handgemaakte items en lekker kos en koffie.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and the community is invited to come together for a day of generosity and beautiful baking at the Spring Cake Fair. This year’s beneficiary is Alba Overbeeke from Mossel Bay, affectionately known as ‘Alba the Brave’. She is a courageous 13-year-old girl who is facing her second battle with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.  Read more here.
