PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Several pushed over and removed traffic signs in Plettenberg Bay have become a frustration for local crime fighters who fear this could have serious consequences.
The Plettenberg Bay Crime Prevention Association (PBCPA) issued a statement on Monday 18 December, that it had come to their attention that there had been a spate of vandalism of traffic signs, street names and street lights.
Several signs had been found to have been pushed over or removed.
The organisation warned that this was a criminal offence and that anyone caught tampering with these signs would be prosecuted.
“We urgently request residents or visitors to stop.
"Your holiday ‘fun’ activities could have serious consequences.
"When you are caught, you will be prosecuted,” the PBCPA warned on their Facebook page.
