KNYSNA NEWS - A truck and a Volkswagen Polo were involved in a collision on the N2 (Lagoon Road) at about 21:00 on Saturday night, 15 August.
According to information gathered at the scene, no fatalities were reported. The driver of the Polo sustained minor injuries, while the truck driver was reportedly uninjured.
A stop-and-go traffic control system is currently in place, with traffic officials directing vehicles through the affected section of the N2.
The collision occurred less than 24 hours after another truck veered off the N2 and into the lagoon on Friday morning, 14 August, not far from Saturday night's accident.
A stop-and-go system had been in place following Friday's incident but was suspended at about 20:30 on Saturday evening.
Approximately half an hour later, the traffic control system was implemented again to facilitate the removal of the truck from the N2.
An enquiry has been sent to the police for further information.
