KNYSNA NEWS - The Knysna Police have opened a culpable homicide docket after two people died in a head-on collision between a truck and a Ford Everest on the N2 near the White Bridge at about 07:30 this morning, Friday 14 August.
The Southern Cape Police’s spokesperson, Warrant Officer Chris Spies, said in a statement that the emergency personnel had been summoned to the scene.
“The Everest’s two occupants sustained serious injuries and were declared dead on the scene. The truck driver also sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance. The N2 is currently closed,” the statement reads.
Police investigations into the collision are under way.
