KNYSNA NEWS - Hornlee Primary recorded a 60-15 victory over Sunridge Primary in a Titans Rugby Academy primary school girls' development fixture in Knysna.

The match was part of the Titans Primary School Girls Development Programme, allowing both teams to put their skills into practice in a competitive match.

Hornlee started strongly, combining effective ball-carrying, solid defence and attacking play. Sunridge continued to compete and showed determination, but Hornlee's pressure and efficiency saw them pull clear on the scoreboard.

While Hornlee took the honours, the fixture also provided valuable match experience for both teams and contributed to the continued development of grassroots girls' rugby.

"Development is about creating opportunities to train and to test what you've learnt in a game, and then to go back and refine your skills. Winning isn't the main goal; growth and progress are," said coach Aschin Klein, director of rugby at Titans Rugby Academy.
