PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS – Plettenberg Bay detectives are appealing to the public for information that could assist in locating 32-year-old Jerome August Qolweni, who has been missing since January 2026.
According to preliminary information, Qolweni, who is originally from Cape Town, left his place of work in Plettenberg Bay on 6 January 2026.
He did not arrive home and was reported missing on 12 January. Qolweni is approximately 1.7 metres tall and weighs about 60kg.
At the time of his disappearance, he was reportedly wearing a Relay T-shirt, blue jeans and blue Puma takkies.
The investigating officer, Sergeant Nozuko Mbonjwa, is urging anyone who may have information about Qolweni’s whereabouts to come forward.

Police are appealing to anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to contact them.
