SOUTHERN CAPE NEWS - The Democratic Alliance is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our friend and colleague, Zelda Jongbloed. Zelda served as a DA Member of Parliament and was the Constituency Head for Kannaland.
She fought a long and brave battle with cancer and throughout her battle, she continued to inspire others.
Her contribution to our organisation was tremendous. She was an inspiration and mentor to many and she will be deeply missed. Her unwavering commitment to the cause and the constituents she represented was admirable.
Zelda was also a prominent figure in the media world before she joined the DA as a public representative.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends and all our DA colleagues in this difficult time.
May her soul rest in peace.
