KNYSNA NEWS - Hornlee Primary School's learners made their mark at the invitational Rugby Sevens and Netball Tournament in Bredasdorp over the past weekend when the school made a successful first appearance at the event.
The tournament was a memorable experience for the young athletes who tested their skills against teams from other schools. The rugby teams delivered particularly impressive performances. The U11 boys claimed victory in the plate final, while the U13 boys went one better by winning the bowl final.
Both achievements provided plenty of reason to celebrate, showcasing the potential of the school's young rugby players.
The school also recognised the netball teams, who narrowly missed out on bringing home silverware, for their efforts.
