KNYSNA NEWS - Tourism businesses across the Garden Route will have an opportunity to connect directly with tour operators and travel agents at the inaugural Garden Route Travel Expo, taking place at Villa Castollini in Knysna on 10 December.
Hosted by Africa Complete, the event aims to bring together tourism suppliers and travel professionals to strengthen industry connections and create opportunities for collaboration across the region.
Tour operators from Cape Town will be invited to attend, alongside local tour operators and travel agents from across the Garden Route.
The expo will use a speed marketing format, allowing participants eight minutes at a time to meet with tourism consultants and introduce them to their businesses and offerings.
The structured sessions are designed to make networking more focused, giving participants an opportunity to establish new contacts and explore potential business relationships.
Guest houses, activity providers, restaurants and other tourism-related businesses are encouraged to consider taking part. The event offers them a chance to engage directly with professionals who package, recommend and sell travel experiences to visitors.
For local tourism businesses, building relationships with these intermediaries can be an important step towards reaching new markets and ensuring the Garden Route remains visible when travel itineraries are planned.
Businesses interested in securing a table or obtaining further information can contact Africa Complete.
