KNYSNA NEWS AND VIDEO - Australia's Jordan Bruno was crowned Mr Gay World at a glitzy and glamorous function held at Villa Castollini on Saturday night, 26 May.
Bruno was chosen out of 19 delegates from across the globe after competing in challenges throughout the week.
This is the first time Australia has won the title.

New Zealand’s Ricky Devine-White, a crowd favourite who drew gasps of admiration during his flawless composure when strutting down the catwalk, was named first runner-up.
Of the 12 competition challenges, Australia won six of them including Formal Wear, Personal Interview and the Social Responsibility challenge.
SA in Top 10
South Africa's Karabo Morake (27), originally from Mahikeng but now living in Cape Town, won the Best Outfit segment and also made it to the Top 10 finalists before being eliminated. Morake is a legal executive manager.
Bruno (25), from Perth, was a popular participant in the television cooking series My Kitchen Rules in Australia and has since built up a large following on Instagram and written a cookbook, The Gay Chef.
In response to a question from the judges about the relevance of the Mr Gay World competition, Bruno replied, "You form a network, you educate each other, and you form bonds – that is how you reach equality, that is what Mr Gay World is about."

This was the 10th year of Mr Gay World, and the third time that it has been held in South Africa, forming part of this year's Pink Loerie festival in Knysna.
The night, which marked the end of the festival, was opened by the mayor of Knysna, Eleanore Bouw-Spies.
Next year the finals will be held in Hong Kong.
