KNYSNA NEWS - With the recent acquisition of additional waste collection vehicles, residents of greater Knysna can now expect more reliable, hassle-free and timely refuse removal services. The municipality has announced that it has expanded its waste management fleet with the addition of two new compactor trucks and a hooklift.
The new vehicles were officially welcomed on Thurs-day 30 July by Knysna Mayor Thando Matika, who was accompanied by the MMC for Community Services, Phindile Petros, and officials from the municipality's Waste Management Department.
According to the municipality, the additional vehicles will significantly strengthen waste collection operations by increasing collection capacity, improving service delivery efficiency, and reducing pressure on the existing fleet.
The municipality has thanked residents for their patience and understanding while efforts to strengthen waste management services continue.
