KNYSNA NEWS - The three men accused of the kidnapping and murder of 30-year-old Meghan Cremer, will spend Christmas behind bars.
According to an article by Times Live’s Dan Meyer, Shiraz Jaftha (39), Charlie Daniels (34), and Jeremy Sias (27), were told earlier today by Magistrate Keith le Keur to “remain patient” as the state awaits post-mortem results.
The trio appeared in the Athlone Magistrate’s Court today (Wednesday 16 October), with the investigation into Cremer’s murder continuing.
Cremer was a former Oakhill learner having grown up in Knysna, before moving to Philippi.
She was an avid horserider.
Her body was found in a sand mine in Philippi five days after she had gone missing from her home.
Sias had a charge of murder slapped onto his rap sheet after Cremer’s body had been found, while his co-accused are charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and defeating the ends of justice.
The case is set to resume on 27 January 2020.
