KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna Municipality boasts a brand-new fire response vehicle.
The new addition to the fleet was welcomed on Monday 3 July at the Knysna Fire Station.
Welcoming the vehicle were Knysna Mayor Ndoda Aubrey Tsengwa, MM Ombali Sebola, Community Services mayco member, Waleed Grootboom, Director of Community Services, Dr Sandile Ngqele, Fire Chief Ian Bezuidenhout, Regional Commander of Fire and Rescue Services, Wayne Sternsdorf and the Knysna firefighters.
"The acquisition of this new fire vehicle is expected to significantly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the town's firefighting operations. The safety and well-being of Knysna's residents are of utmost importance," said Tsengwa.
