KNYSNA NEWS - Local artists and music producers gained valuable insights into the business of music during a two-day workshop hosted by Knysna Library Services on 24 and 25 October.

The workshop covered music rights, copyright, business development, digital marketing and distribution, and equipped participants with practical knowledge to grow their careers and manage their creative talents as both art and business.

Supported by the municipality’s Arts and Culture Office, the initiative also provided local artists and producers an opportunity to collaborate and create original music, highlighting the value of teamwork and the creative talent within the Knysna community.

The municipality is committed to supporting local talent, fostering collaboration and creating opportunities for artists to develop their skills and build sustainable careers in the music industry.
