Police spokesman Lieutenant Marlene Pieterse said members of the Plettenberg Bay crime prevention unit pulled over an Isuzu truck on the N2 near the Tsitsikamma toll plaza on Monday, January 26 during a “routine stop-and-search”.
“While searching the vehicle police found drugs under the passenger seat of the truck,” Pieterse said.
Police confiscated 170 Mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R8 500 and the suspect was arrest.
