KNYSNA NEWSFLASH - The community of Judah Square, a Rastafarian sanctuary in Khayalethu, Knysna, was rocked by a raid involving a large contingent of police today.
Members of the community say a mass of police vehicles and officers invaded their "peaceful space" on Tuesday 13 March, and removed all cannabis plants in sight, without a search warrant.
The Judah Square community is irate about the action, while town residents have also expressed their concern as Judah Square has become an iconic attraction for tourists visiting Knysna.
The action has left not only local Rastafarians but numerous Knysna residents asking, "Why act this way towards a peace-loving people?"
