KNYSNA NEWS - United Brothers scored in the dying minutes of a Promotional League match against the Future Stars to earn a 1-1 draw at Hornlee Sports Grounds last Saturday.
The Stars looked set to claim all three points after dominating large periods of the match and creating numerous scoring opportunities. However, despite their attacking pressure, they were unable to convert enough chances to put the game beyond reach. Their missed opportunities proved costly as United Brothers struck in the closing moments.
Despite the late setback, Future Stars defender Ewandré le Grange delivered a standout performance and was named the man of the match.
His commanding display at the back kept United Brothers at bay for most of the contest, and was widely regarded as one of his best performances for the team.
In a tough Domestic League match at the same venue and time, Pine Stars' B team from Rheenendal defeated Ekhayeni from Concordia 2-1.
