KNYSNA NEWS - The first round of matches in the Knysna Bowling Club's Summertime Action Bowls competition kicked off this past Friday, and bowled over all who took part.

Previously known as the ‘Business League’, now with 24 teams from the Knysna Commercial community taking part, the competition will run for the next four weeks, after which the champions will be crowned at a prize-giving ceremony at the end of the series.
Teams take part every Friday and are made up of men and women - partners and families of participants are encouraged to come along and cheer for their team.
After the first game on Friday 23 February the leader-board places the following teams on the podium:
1st place – Buco Alweer
2nd place – The ‘Skams’
3rd place – the Golden Oldies
There is only one point difference between the top three places which goes to show how tight these games are.
