KNYSNA NEWS - The Rotary Club of Knysna has just completed its 19th successful Annual Charity Golf Weekend.
A record number of players converged on Knysna from all around the country and played 18 holes on each of the three days at Simola, Pezula, Goose Valley and the Knysna Golf Club.
A number of golfers also played at Pinnacle Point in Mossel Bay on the Thursday on their way from Cape Town to Knysna.
Despite some very welcome rain on the Thursday evening and light drizzle on the Friday morning, the weather was superb and the views of Knysna and the golf courses incredible.
The golfers, who numbered 219 and played a total of 682 rounds of golf, all participated in the different events, joined in the social evenings and thoroughly enjoyed the Garden Route hospitality.
Rotary would like to thank all the golfers who attended from far and wide as well as all our sponsors, who will be thanked separately for helping to make this event such a success.
All the funds raised from the weekend will go to the different charities supported by the Rotary Club of Knysna.
