All the changes within the structure will be explained during the road show of IEASA which is scheduled to take place on 6 May.
Chairman of the Institute Ronel Heyns made a strong appeal to all agents and principals in the Garden Route to attend the meeting so as to become acquainted with the change in the structures. Heyns was appointed as the IEASA national director in 2009.
Pam Snyman, IEASA CEO, will be explaining the latest developments. A professional body is to be formed for principals and agents.
"The end result is that we are still an autonomous body though," said Heyns, who is also the organiser mandated to hold a national road show in 15 regions in April and May.
Heyns is also organising a tour to Los Angeles from 7 to 18 November at a cost of R19 995 (flight and accommodation included) for 50 agents from all over the country who will attend the NAR (National Association of Realtors Convention). There are still a few seats available. Contact Chanté Lesch, regional secretary, at 044 382 0990.
