NATIONAL NEWS - A psychologist will on Tuesday testify about murder accused Henri van Breda’s behaviour while his family was being attacked.
Van Breda is on trial in the Western Cape High Court for the murder of his parents and older brother at their Stellenbosch home in 2015. He also allegedly seriously injured his sister.
The 23-year-old denies the charges against him.
Van Breda has been diagnosed with juvenile myoclonic epilepsy.
He had to be hospitalised last week after suffering a seizure and has since undergone a series of tests.
His lawyer, Pieter Botha, therefore wants the neurologist who made the finding to be called to testify.
He believes that Dr James Butler will shed more light on what caused the triple murder accused to blank out for over two hours.
