On arrival at the service station near West Village on the evening of 1 November, CPF members and their and First Aid Responders (FAR) found a man with injuries to his head after he was hit with a hammer.
It is believed the petrol attendant was arguing with the driver of a taxi about the petrol cap minutes before the attack started.
The taxi driver left after he filled his vehicle and returned shortly after when he started assaulting the petrol attendant with a hammer.
An EPR security guard on the scene quickly called for back up from the CPF and its FAR who arrived shortly thereafter.
