NATIONAL NEWS - There was a man sleeping in a room next to where the car plunged through the roof.
A driver miraculously escaped without injury after his vehicle plunged through a KwaMakhutha house’s roof on Thursday morning, 2 July.
According to ER24 spokesman, Pieter Rossouw, the driver told paramedics who attended the scene he went over a ramp on the road at about 9am and found himself airborne.
“There were no passengers in the car, but there was a man sleeping in a room next to where the car plunged through the roof,” he said. “He was awoken by the noise, but also escaped without injury.
