NATIONAL NEWS - Two sisters, aged 15 and five, have been rescued after being reported missing from Kenya township, in Glen Hills near KwaDukuza (Stanger) last night.
The police’s Search and Rescue K9 unit and IPSS Search and Rescue were called out last night but were unable to locate the girls.
“Search efforts restarted early this morning and after around 3-and-a-half hours or searching, K9 Dante was able to track the sisters,” said Umhlali K9 Unit’s Clinton Odayar.
They were discovered together in a dense field near the township.

“The 15-year-old was found unconscious with the five-year-old sleeping next to her. Both were treated on scene and taken to General Justice Gizenga Mpanza Hospital in Stanger,” said IPSS Medical Rescue owner, Dylan Meyrick.
KwaDukuza police are investigating the reason for the girls’ disappearance.
