Steenkamps unperturbed by Pistorius parole saga

NATIONAL NEWS - Reeva Steenkamp's family has said they don't welcome the decision delaying Oscar Pistorius's release on parole, nor do they feel any relief at the news.

They've responded to Wednesday’s surprise announcement by Justice Minister Michael Masutha to suspend the Paralympic athlete's release from prison.

A panel of three judges will now be tasked with deciding whether the decision to grant Pistorius parole was legitimate.

June and Barry Steenkamp were surprised by Wednesday’s announcement, but their lawyer Tania Koen said they did not necessarily welcome the decision.
