KNYSNA NEWS - Following the regional Science Fair held at NMU George in August, eight projects from Eden Karoo District were chosen to represent the region at the International Science Fair (ISF) in Johannesburg between 2 and 5 October.
Not only did all learners from the area do well in the various categories – more than 500 projects from across the country – but three from Knysna High School produced two medals.
These young Knysnarians showed their flair for science and stood out among the many participants.
Team Inge-Maré Talmaggies and Kaydee Jantjies won bronze with their project, while Shanté Strydom brought back a silver.
"We congratulate you – you made us proud! And a huge thank you to all who gave them the necessary support to achieve their goals," said teacher Caroline Bredell.
