KNYSNA NEWS - A few cows were spotted in Knysna's CBD on the night of Tuesday 12 May, trying to mimic the age-old joke of the chicken crossing the road, with unprecedented freedom thanks to the current lockdown curfew.
The cows were spotted patiently waiting for the light to turn green at the Long Street/Main Road intersection by a team of Allsound Security officers at 22:45 on Tuesday.
With the current lockdown curfew in place from 20:00 to 05:00 every evening, they've noticed a downturn in activity in the CBD, which has led to the returning of cows in what can only be described as nature's attempt at reclaiming the area in the absence of humans.
Let's hope the cows could do as the chicken has done countless times before and returned home safe.
