BUSINESS NEWS - Just over two years ago, Plett Realty opened its doors with a simple vision: to build more than a real estate agency.
Today, being nominated as one of the best estate agencies in the Best of Knysna & Plett Readers’ Choice Awards 2026, for the third year running, is an incredible honour and a reflection of the trust placed in us by our clients, purchasers, tenants, landlords, developers and the wider community.
Like many local businesses, our journey has been built on hard work, long hours and a genuine passion for the towns we call home. Plettenberg Bay and Knysna are more than places where we work; they are the communities where we live, raise our families, invest our time, and build our future.
Over the past two years, we have had the privilege of assisting hundreds of families and investors through property sales, rentals, holiday accommodation, property management and development sales.
While every transaction is important, some projects leave a lasting impact on the communities around them. One of those projects is Plett Village Estate.
When the development first launched, there were many who questioned whether a project of this scale would ever become a reality. Today, the answer stands proudly on site for all to see. With construction approaching completion and hundreds of purchasers preparing to take occupation later this year, Plett Village Estate has become a powerful example of what can be achieved through vision, commitment and belief.
Watching the development rise from vacant land into a thriving residential community has been one of the proudest achievements of our journey.

The momentum continues with Castleton Villas, another exciting residential development in Plettenberg Bay. With approximately 70% of the development already sold, the market response has been exceptional, and construction is scheduled to commence later this year. It is yet another reminder of the confidence buyers continue to have in our local property market and the future of our region.
