KNYSNA NEWS – Famsa Knysna launched the Fun Socks Challenge to raise anti-bullying awareness on 17 November.
The campaign, which was initiated at the Famsa Upington branch, involves local schools and businesses.
The challenge entails wearing mismatched or odd socks to symbolise and celebrate individual differences, creating a culture of respect and unity.
The importance of recognising and addressing bullying to ensure the well-being of children and young adults is emphasised.
Famsa's community outreach services help parents identify signs of bullying, understand different forms of bullying, and follow strategies to combat the issue.
