KNYSNA NEWS - Role players at the Vermont Old Age Home have sought to remind the public that its annual general meeting will still go ahead today, Thursday 18 May, at 18:00.
Rumours doing the rounds that it has been cancelled, are false.
Vermont's AGM will be held at the Hornlee Community Hall and is open to all members and stakeholders of Vermont as well as the broader community.
"The meeting will be an opportunity to vote on important matters relating to the wellbeing of residents of the Vermont Old Age Home," organisers said.
"Organisers of the AGM would like to reassure the public that the meeting will be going ahead this evening at the above-mentioned time and has not been cancelled."
