Update
KNYSNA NEWS - Paul Cremer, brother of missing former Knysna local Meghan Cremer, has made a desperate plea for any information that the public might have regarding Meghan's disappearance from her home in Philippi, Cape Town last weekend.
Both Meghan and Paul are former Oakhill School learners, but Meghan now lives on the Vaderlandsche Rietvlei farm in Philippi, Cape Town, which is also the last place she was seen.
According to reports, she was last seen wearing a green top and black tracksuit pants at about 18:30 on Saturday 3 August, when she left her home on the farm.
Meghan has not returned home since her disappearance, and also did not show up for her job as manager at Woodstock Bakery on Monday, which raised even more alarms.
She left her house in her white Toyota Auris with a CX 29727 licence plate. The vehicle was reportedly spotted at a roadblock in Grassy Park, Cape Town being driven by a stranger, but was never stopped by police as the vehicle had not yet been reported stolen.
According to Western Cape police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Andrè Traut, three people have since been arrested in connection with Meghan's vehicle.
"Three suspects aged 27, 34, and 35 have been arrested after they were found in possession of stolen property (vehicle) registered in the name of the missing person," he said.
"Police detectives are following up all possible leads in order to establish if there is a link to the suspects that have been arrested and the missing person."
Meghan is of slim/slender build, 1.67m tall with long brown hair and hazel brown eyes. She is described by The Pink Ladies Organisation as having a sharp nose, flat ears, thin lips, a mole on the right side of her mouth, and a scar on her right shoulder.
