Update
RHEENENDAL NEWS - The Western Cape Government Health and Wellness has announced the temporary closure of the Rheenendal Clinic today, 15 May, as a result of ongoing protest action in the area.
According to Nadia Ferreira, communication officer for the department, the decision was made to ensure the safety of both staff and patients. "The safety of our staff and clients remains our top priority," she stated.
Patients with scheduled appointments will have them rescheduled, and they will be contacted directly once the clinic is operational again.
