Update
KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna Municipality has confirmed that the water supply in Rheenendal was restored this afternoon following recent disruptions.
However, due to unexpected loadshedding, pumping operations have been interrupted. As a precaution, water tankers have remained in the area for the evening.
The water system will be closed from 22h00 to 06h00 to increase the storage in the reservoir.
The Knysna water system remains constrained, with no significant changes at this stage. We remain on track and anticipate that the system will require the remainder of the week to return to full normality.
Water tankers will remain servicing affected areas, and the number of tankers will be monitored and reviewed based on demand.
