GEORGE NEWS - A fourth suspect linked to a recent money heist in Oudtshoorn, Sakhele Thembalekhaya Nkabi (36), appeared in the Oudtshoorn Magistrate’s Court earlier today, Monday 26 July.
The case was postponed to 3 August for a formal bail application.
Nkabi, a SANDF Captain attached to the Infantry School in Oudtshoorn, was arrested on Friday 23 July by the Hawks National Priority Violent Crimes team (NPVC) assisted by the Attaqua K9 Unit from Oudtshoorn.
This follows the arrest of three other suspects, Masixole Dolomba, Simphiwe Matwa and Lwandiso Lento, shortly after the incident on 19 July.

It is alleged that these four suspects were involved in an armed robbery at the Atlantic Oil filling station opposite the Bridgton Police Station in Oudtshoorn, where Fidelity Cash Solutions security guards were robbed while collecting cash.
One of the security guards was accosted by two armed suspects on his way back to his armoured vehicle. He was disarmed of his service pistol and robbed of a bag containing cash.
The money and the firearm were recovered during the arrest of the three suspects near the turn-off to Blanco on the Outeniqua Pass near George after their getaway vehicle, a silver coloured Nissan Sentra, was pulled over.
Dolomba, Matwa and Lento, all from Thembalethu, appeared in court the next Wednesday and the case was postponed to Wednesday 28 July for the appointment of legal representation for Dolomba.
