KNYSNA NEWS - The Knysna Wine Festival, a firm favourite during the Knysna Oyster Festival, was a two-day affair this time around – amazing news for locals, wine connoisseurs and socialites.

The 14th edition of this festival was held on 28 and 29 June at the Premier Resort The Moorings in George Rex Drive, where local producers showcased the delivious fruits of their labour.

Under the umbrella of Plettenberg Bay Winelands, the Knysna Wine Festival featured Packwood Country Estate, Newstead Lund Family Vineyards, Kay & Monty Vineyards, Bramon Wine Estate, Bitou Vineyards and Lodestone Wines and Olives.

The festival also offered quaffers the opportunity to discover a variety of produce from the Garden Route and Klein Karoo, creating awareness of the area's wonderful local wineries, distilleries and craft breweries – while being entertained by violinist Minx playing a range of music everybody could sing and dance to.
