KNYSNA NEWSFLASH - State of the town address is in full swing at the Knysna municipality's council of chambers in Clyde Street.
Two Issues are on the table:
- the approval of the budget 2018/2019 and
- a motion of no confidence on the mayor, Eleanore Bouw-Spies.
The council chambers is filled to maximum capacity and members of the public are no longer allowed to come in and there are law enforcement officers to ensure that they don't.
So far the option of no confidence being the last point on the agenda has sparked a debate between the councillors of opposing parties.
