KNYSNA NEWS - If you have you been putting off your annual mammogram during the Covid-19 pandemic, you will be pleased to hear that a mobile breast cancer screening unit will be visiting Knysna next week.
Knysna Mall, in conjunction with Knysna High School, has arranged for the Keystone mobile breast cancer screening unit to be available at the Knysna High School sport grounds on Waterfront Drive (across from Caltex) from 2 to 6 November next week.
Keystone Medical has been going to great lengths to create awareness about breast cancer, travelling from town to town, educating women and offering screening in a safe and personal environment.
It's never too late (or too early) to be screened, and all staff at the screening unit are female. Screenings are limited to 16 per day, so the public is urged to book ahead of time.
In order to book, you can call 087 055 0587 (option 8) or click here to book online. Medical Aid and private fees will apply.
