KNYSNA NEWS - Little Elephants preprimary school's learners enjoyed a few visits to and from community organisations last month, getting to know more about vets, dentists, and road safety.
First up was a visit from the traffic department, as the toddlers got a chance to learn more about road safety, and the importance of obeying the rules of the road.
They even got a chance to ride around in the street with their bicycles under the supervision of the traffic department.
Next came a visit to the dentist, something many little children would be scared of (many adults too), but the little ellies were brave. "Each child got a chance to sit in the chair, the dentist checked their teeth and they got spoiled with a toothbrush, toothpaste and even got to colour in pictures," said Little Elephants' Juanita Oosthuizen.
Finally came a visit to Dr Mark Shortreed the vet, made all the more exciting because of the chance to see cute little animals. Oosthuizen expressed their gratitude to Shortreed for his continued support of the school.
