KNYSNA NEWS - The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) is rolling out its Life Orientation Career Club programme as part of the provincial Growth for Jobs (G4J) strategy - and Knysna Secondary School (KSS) has been selected to launch its own club.
The initiative aims to equip learners with essential career-readiness skills, helping them explore job opportunities and prepare for the world of work.
Career clubs offer practical training such as CV writing, interview skills and job shadowing, while also arranging career expos and connecting learners with mentors and professionals across various fields.
This step by the WCED supports long-term youth employment and economic growth in the province.
