KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna-Plett Herald is proud to rank among its staff journalist Blake Linder who finished in the country's top 5 for Best Sports Photograph of the Year at the Forum of Community Journalists (FCJ) Excellence Awards in Pretoria last weekend.
Before joining KPH in May, Linder worked at the Roodepoort Northsider, for whom he took a photo titled Eyes on the Ball.
The photo is of a group of children playing soccer on a dusty field in Johannesburg's Zandspruit township.
At the awards ceremony, the photo was named in fourth position.
Blake Linder's photograph, Eyes on the Ball, was named the fourth-best sports photograph of the year nationally.
