SEDGEFIELD NEWS - A fire broke out earlier tonight, Friday 12 December in the Meedingsride complex in Sedgefield, completely destroying a house. 

According to sources the blaze, which occurred about two hours ago, was extinguished by the fire department. 

"Luckily no one was inside the house at the time, and there have been no reported injuries."

The cause of the fire remains unknown, and authorities are assessing the extent of the damage.
