KNYSNA NEWS - The third Last Fridays initiative in Knysna Industrial this week sees the return of a skate park to the list of experiences. The initiative, which as the name suggests, occurs on the last Friday of every month, was launched to offer the public an opportunity to experience the unique events, foodstuff and artisan spaces, art exhibits and products on offer in Knysna's industrial area.
Come this Friday, there will again be more than 10 businesses involved. This includes the Boardroom, back after a brief break from Last Fridays in May, and bringing their new skate park and store in Progress Street to the mix.
Elsewhere visitors can browse the shelves at Bark & Mill, Pure Salvage and Zawadi for everything from leather accessories to vintage collectibles.
If you're feeling peckish, you can stop by Whitewashed for a bite and have a craft beer at Red Bridge, all while enjoying some live music in The Yard.
Otherwise you can head down to Uil Street for an artisanal pizza at Maillard Baking Co and a gin cocktail at Knysna Gin.
Wander a little further up the street to feast your eyes on the collectible autos at Iconic Cars, and toast them with a taste of honey liqueur from Eden Honey just around the corner.
You can then complete the walking circuit with a visit to The Showroom for an exhibition of affordable, contemporary art by Karoo artists at the Doos Gallery - a miniature pop-up gallery that is just back from the Prince Albert Open Studios with some amazing art on display.
Entry to all venues is free and all offer indoor space to counter bad weather.

Classic collectible cars will be on show at Iconic Classic Cars.
The woodfired oven at Maillard Baking Co will be burning hot on Friday.
