GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - As part of their social corporate responsibility, the players and coaching staff of the Garden Route Badgers professional women's team conducted a very successful sanitary pad run the past week.
The players visited Saturnus Primary School in Bridgton, Oudtshoorn, and handed out about a thousand sanitary pads.
According to Zenobia Nel, executive assistant and human resource administrator, the project was a huge success. "I would like to extend a special word of thanks to our loyal sponsors and donors who contributed to this annual programme," Nel said.
