KNYSNA NEWS – The Knysna CPF held its open day forum on Friday 23 June at the Knysna High School field. The CPF invited all businesses and residents to join the new neighbourhood watch in Knysna Central.
The CPF, in partnership with Allsound, Revive Knysna and Knysna CCTV Project, is working to extend help to the police to keep Knysna safe.
"We are establishing a new neighbourhood watch in the Knysna Central area," said CPF chairperson Cheryl Britz. "The objective is to get more role players involved. We invite the community to join in, sign on and become a part of the new neighbourhood watch.
"We all need to be the eyes and ears of the community and if we work together, each and everyone can make a huge difference."
Warrant Officer Francois Cowley thanked the CPF and all the people who are assisting getting this new initiative off the ground.
"I believe that through collaboration and strong partnerships, this initiative will help greatly in future to keep our community safe," he said.
