"So, we decided to go and look at the situation. Then we sat down together to decide what are we could do and this is where the decision came from all of us."
The group paid a visit to the Oupad home of the sickly Zuba laden with arms full of various donations on Saturday, October 25. She lives with her mother, Nomathamsanqa Masa, who is emplyed as a domestic worker to support her and her daughter. Masa has no choice but to leave her daughter on her own during the day in one of the temporary shacks provided by the Knysna Municipality while they are on waiting list for a RDP home. Zuba has just applied for her identity document in order to receive a disability grant. This young girl welcomed her visitors with a beautiful smile.
"We open our hearts with lots of love to give to those in need. Our aim is to help everybody in our community, not only in our church. If you call yourself a Christian, you must look out for everybody, not only your family or friends" said Bunga.
Zuba and her mother were incredibly grateful for the help they received from their kind visitors and to know that others care about them.
"We thank the people who open their hearts to donate some goods like a bed, bedding and food. Masa repeatedly thanked God and blessed the good people who cared enough to pay them a visit and shower them with gifts.
