KNYSNA NEWS & VIDEO - A young female caracal, injured by a car along the Airport Road in Plettenberg Bay in March, has finally found freedom in the wild.
She had suffered a broken pelvis and spent nearly seven weeks recovering.
The caracal was released on Thursday 2 May in a wilderness area in the Plett surrounds, following a combined effort by Robberg Veterinary Clinic, the George Rex Veterinary Clinic in Knysna, the Tenikwa Wildlife Rehabilitation and Awareness Centre and Cape Nature.
