KNYSNA NEWS - On Friday 24 May, Little Oaks of Oakhill School celebrated cultural diversity from right around the world during their annual Children of the World Day celebrations.
Little Oakhillians came to school dressed as citizens of different countries, adorned with traditional garments and accessories.
Everyone had a wonderfully fun morning learning about unique cultures through presentations, music, dancing, singing and last but not least, a culinary feast.

Little Oaks moms and dads prepared traditional dishes from a variety of countries and went the extra mile to ensure that the children had an authentic experience. While the parents definitely helped the children with their outfits, some of the staff outfits were designed by assistant teacher Roydah Kalumba, who also did the beadwork jewellery.
