LIFESTYLE NEWS - If you think of insurance as a way to mitigate your risks, when it comes to your health there are many things that can be done (differently) that can have drastic effects on your health trajectory.
Many of these are inexpensive, or free, for example:
Eat real food:
An industry has arisen that has mastered the arts involved in putting things is your tummy that taste, smell, look and feel like food but are not particularly good for you. Eating things as clean, fresh and wholesome as possible is the way to go. We will look back one day at how we put poisons and chemicals on food and laugh at how ridiculous that idea was.
Unclutter your mind:
Your mind has a hard time telling the difference between what is really happening and the stories that you tell yourself about what is happening. If a thought is going to lead to action, then act, if not, let it go and move on…
Move your body:
The body actually needs to move to be healthy. Put yourself in situations where you need to manually move across the ground. On your feet!
Get enough sleep:
Sleep time is when your body does its maintenance. Not enough sleep equals not enough maintenance and things will start to break down. Sleep is not optional, and claiming that you will "sleep when I'm dead" will hasten that very eventuality.
Say positive things:
Just like a smile can infect others with a happy feeling, positive thoughts and words create positive effects in the world. If everyone is agreeing that there is a recession, that creates the recession – let's stop doing that. And create a boom instead.
