Cameron met Hollande in Paris today to discuss ways in which to further bolster efforts in dealing with the scourge in the wake of the Paris attacks.
The French leader will be meeting with a host of other world leaders this week.
Cameron says EU nations can do more together.
“It is frankly ridiculous that we can get more information from countries outside the EU than we can from each other. And we must do more to crack down on the trade of illegal firearms, to stop them from getting in the hands of terrorists, who are determined to wreak such misery with them.”
